Effective 7 September 2026. Scout is a career discovery, hiring-match and application-preparation service delivered through the web and Telegram.
1. Job information
Scout aggregates and normalizes job information from supported public sources and approved feeds. Listings can change or close without notice. The employer's canonical application page is the source of truth. Scout does not guarantee employment, interviews, availability, compensation, visa sponsorship or employer response.
2. Matching
Match percentages are Scout ranking scores, not probabilities of being hired. For candidate job discovery, Scout applies saved role, location and seniority constraints before ranking eligible jobs. In recruiter mode, Scout compares employer role criteria with completed candidate profiles that contain a resume and have not explicitly opted out of recruiter discovery. Employers and candidates remain responsible for deciding whether to proceed.
3. Recruiter mode
Scout's recruiter mode is intended for legitimate hiring by verified work-email users. Recruiters may create and edit role briefs, receive ranked anonymous candidate matches and send invitations through Scout. Candidate identity and stored contact details remain hidden until that candidate expresses interest in the invitation.
Recruiters must not attempt to re-identify anonymous candidates, circumvent candidate discovery controls, use Scout for unrelated marketing, resell candidate information, discriminate unlawfully, or send misleading, fraudulent or non-existent opportunities. Scout may limit or suspend access where usage creates spam, privacy or safety risk.
Completed candidate profiles with a resume are eligible for anonymous recruiter matching by default unless the candidate explicitly opts out. Candidates may opt out at any time and may exclude specified companies. An invitation is not an employment offer and an interested response does not create an employment relationship or obligation on either side.
4. Resume tailoring
Scout uses the user's master resume as the factual source of truth. Tailoring may change emphasis and wording, but should not invent employers, titles, dates, education or unsupported achievements. Users should review generated application material before using it.
5. Free plan
Scout Free includes up to the configured daily number of unique job discoveries and one lifetime ATS resume tailor. A job made available through a saved Scout result list counts as a discovery even when more results are available behind the first Telegram message. Limits may be adjusted for abuse prevention or service reliability, but Scout will not fabricate jobs to fill a daily allowance.
6. Scout Pro, referrals and Telegram Stars
Scout Pro is a recurring 30-day digital subscription purchased in Telegram Stars. The current Star price is shown in Telegram before payment. Pro removes the daily new-job cap and unlocks unlimited ATS resume tailoring and premium agent features, subject to reasonable anti-abuse and platform safety limits.
Subscriptions renew every 30 days until canceled. Canceling renewal keeps Pro active through the already-paid period. Users can cancel or resume renewal from Scout Settings when supported by Telegram. Telegram's payment platform and applicable app-store rules govern the purchase of Stars.
Scout referrals have no monthly ceiling. A referral must satisfy Scout's anti-abuse qualification rules before activation credit. When a referred user upgrades to Scout Pro, Scout may add 30 days of Pro access to the referrer's account. Each qualifying paid referral can earn a separate reward, and the same conversion cannot be rewarded more than once. Scout may withhold or reverse referral rewards associated with abuse, self-referral, fraudulent accounts or payment reversals.
7. Acceptable use
Do not use Scout to attack, scrape, overload or circumvent third-party services; submit illegal or malicious material; impersonate others; automate abusive volumes of requests; or use candidate/employer data outside the purpose for which it was provided. Scout may rate-limit or suspend abusive traffic to protect the service, users and data sources.
8. Privacy
Use of Scout is also governed by the Privacy Policy. Do not upload passwords, government identity documents, bank details or unrelated sensitive information.
9. Changes and availability
Scout may change features, data sources, pricing or limits as the product evolves. Material subscription changes will be presented before a new purchase or renewal where required. Service availability is not guaranteed without interruption.
